This 11th century manuscript contains a book inventory from Corbie Abbey, a former Benedictine monastery. The book inventory consists of three parchment leaves that may originally have been at the beginning of a manuscript. It lists about 312 titles on five pages in roughly alphabetical order. The titles are presented in two columns. The book inventory gives insight into the kind of literature accessible at Corbie Abbey in the eleventh century. In addition to religious, devotional, and theological texts, there are also various works on Latin language and grammar. The presence of ancient authors such as Aristotle, Cicero, Statius, Lucan, Ovid and Virgil highlights their significance for the monastic context.
