The Karnak Temple Complex

On a trip to Egypt, a visit to the famous temple city of Karnak should be at the top of the agenda. The temple complex, best known for the massive temple of Amun-Re, is located north of Luxor. Its construction history dates back to the 2nd millennium BC.
